“That day, I was introduced to the term ‘Writer’s Block’. After studying it in detail, I felt like I was experiencing some sort of block myself. I’ve been working hard consistently, showing patience, and giving my best effort, but the runs just weren’t coming. Especially after the last two BPL seasons, the expectations on me were sky-high.
The disappointment of not scoring runs was felt even more by my fans and supporters than by me. However, more than that, I found inspiration in the eyes of the people around me. Tamim Iqbal bhai, no one can understand how perfect you’ve been as a mentor. Despite all the expectations, the entire team constantly reminded me that it’s all normal, and that I would return to form soon. I’m grateful to my coaching staff and all the players. Special thanks to physiotherapists Bayezid Bhai and Shaheen Bhai, you two mean a lot to me.
Those who love cricket also love us, I know that. They cheer when we perform well, and feel disappointed when we don’t. Honestly, both the positive and negative feedback from our supporters give us strength. Thanks to the Almighty, thanks to everyone at Fortune Barishal, and thank you to all our supporters ❤️”
